The terrace features a barrel sauna (wooden barrel-shaped sauna) available any time during your stay. We provide three hours' worth of firewood for the sauna, BBQ equipment rentals, and a complimentary supply of charcoal and a grill net. <BBQ Equipment Free Rental> (Available from May to the end of October) Two BBQ grills (for 4-6 people) Outdoor bench and tables Tongs, lighters, fire starters, 3 kg of charcoal, and a grill net Please bring your own food. You may use the cottage's dishes, but as many are fragile, we recommend bringing disposable plates if you are concerned. There is no roof to protect against heavy rain or wind. BBQs may not be able to do due to weather conditions. <Barrel Sauna> Available for use at any time during your stay (until 9 PM). Accommodates up to 4 people. We provide approximately 3 hours' worth of firewood for the sauna stove. Bear Lodge offers four bedrooms, including two spacious master suites with king-size beds. On the first floor, you’ll find one of the master bedrooms, with a private bathroom. Two additional bedrooms furnished with two single beds, and a shared bathroom with a shower and a relaxing sauna. The second floor hosts the second master suite, which includes a king-size bed and a private bathroom. The main living space brings together a bright living room, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen.

It is a very quiet place surrounded by nature. A BBQ space in front of the river in the backyard is available for bonfires and wood-chopping. Hammocks and swings are available for guests with children. Located just a few minutes drive to Noboribetsu Onsen district, you can enjoy many day-trip hot springs. There is a convenience store within walking distance. We recommend staying at least 2 nights and driving. Travel by bus or cab is inconvenient.
