The house can accommodate up to eight adults comfortably, and is a firm favourite with hill walkers and mountain bikers because of its proximity to Galloway Forest Park

With a fully equipped kitchen and shower room and a king-size bed were hoping this couples retreat has it all for complete relaxation. *£13/pet per stay payable on arrival. Wifi is an add on for £10 per stay however 4g is pretty good here

Nook ( Carsluith holiday lodges) is a beautiful off- grid spacious lodge with a wood fired hot tub and stunning views across the Cree estuary. It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

Galloway Farmstay Claunch

Galloway Farmstay Claunch is a newly renovated barn conversion set in the heart of a working farm in Galloway, South West Scotland. It has a large living/kitchen area with full height ceiling, a king bedroom, a stunning mezzanine level with twin beds & a downstairs wet room. Hot tub in private garden relaxation area with picnic bench & chairs. There is steep staircase to the upper mezzanine level. This may be unsuitable for small children. Stair gates at top and bottom. Sorry no pets.

Located just over the Buccleuch Street bridge beside the River Nith within walking distance of most tourist sights inc The old bridge museum,The Devorgilla bridge , Dumfries museum, Robert Burns centre,Burns house,mausoleum,Greyfriars church, Burns statue. Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

Dumfries and Galloway dark skies park is a stunning location to get away from it all on our eco friendly off grid small holding. The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 . The chemical free, DIY hottub is very private and for the exclusive use of our guests, only available for bookings of 3 nights or more
