Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Conveniently situated a short drive from Glasgow and Prestwick airports, with excellent transport links into the city of Glasgow and beyond. It is worth noting, that this property is also ideally placed for guests who wish to visit Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, the Ayrshire coast, or embark on the NC500.

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds.

About us,   A warm welcome awaits you at our home in the centre of Strathaven overlooking the Hastie Park. We offer a private, one bedroom Guest Suite with its own access. The suite consists of a double bedroom, spacious living area and shower room which is suitable for single or double use. You will also have access to the adjoining dining room which has a fridge, toaster and microwave oven.
