I would like to introduce to you a house belonged to my aunt “Omine”(pronounced oh-me-nay), which has just been beautifully renovated. My auntie was a noted “Shamisen” guitar player and she appeared in many movies and TV dramas. Now her home and its rooms, where she practiced her “Shamisen”, have been converted for a comfortable stay.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

The nearest station is 10 minutes walk from JR Enmachi Station, 1 minute walk from the Kyoto Municipal Bus Taishogun bus stop, located in Taishogun. Since it is a 100-year-old townhouse, the rooms themselves are aging and have been slightly renovated, but from the outside it looks like a traditional townhouse, but the inside has not been renovated like a hotel. Katsura Club is a traditional Kyoto townhouse that has not been renovated much and remains in its original condition.
