CrossRoads Cottage, established in 2013, is a small cottage with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, tv room/bedroom and kitchen. Guests have the convenience of the entire house. Note: Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the cottage. Note: Price includes up to 4 guests at the cottage. Each additional guest will be $10 extra to accommodate for food, linens, and water useage. Note: There will be a $250 fee for smoking and/or pet violations

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. Only three blocks from downtown this first floor condo has a king bed in its primary and a full size second bedroom. This newly renovated duplex gives each unit its own separate entrance, and is well appointed with laundry and has everything you need before a day of exploring charming Elkins or the Mon Forest. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals or just grab a cup of coffee from the beverage station.

As part of the experience, you'll have a scenic 3-minute walk from the parking area (down by our house) up to the tiny house.

Wintertime readiness: When we have snow, 4-wheel or All-wheel drive will be best. Watch the weather. Un plug at Tree House. The cabin now has Wi Fi. There is also a DVD player w/ DVDs. A 15 minute drive takes you to Thomas, WV for food and art and music. Five more minutes and you are in Davis for Blackwater Falls State Park. A few more miles down the road find two alpine ski areas and White Grass Ski Touring Center.

A bright, modern cabin in the heart of the Monongahela National Forest. This brand new design driven space feels like being in a treehouse. It lies at the edge of the Dolly Sods wilderness, has forest views from every room, and a sauna. The location provides easy access to tons of hiking and is only 2.5-3 hours from Washington DC. It's as close as you can get to Dolly Sods without camping! 4WD needed in the winter.
