Our small self-catering 5 sleeper thatched chalet fits in perfectly with nature. The chalet is totally off the grid and uses a limited solar inverter to charge and run your personal 220V devices. It is a small and compact chalet, but the setting makes it a wonderful place to rest for a weekend. There is a fully equipped kitchen, gas stove and a fridge/freezer. The downstairs bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin. Outside is an amazing bush-shower. The views from the upstairs deck are stunning.

The Manor House

The Homestead is the original main house of the fabulous Steynshoop Valley Lodge, with 5 double bedrooms (all en-suite). It is the private luxury lodge of the owner of Steynshoop, with antique furnishings and luxury items. It has wonderful views, through large sliding windows, over the pool and dams and down the valley, and of the mountain range.
