Whispering Oak in the heart of Midtown

Built in 1908 and well preserved and loved over the decades. The front garden once featured a massive 200 year old Oak tree from which we named the property. Super cool house! Made from reclaimed shipping containers, covered and trimmed out with century old reclaimed cypress and hardwood. This house sits on a private gated drive along with our 10 other farmhouses, all on our 500 acre working farm. Each unique in their own way, all 11 are devoted guest houses and listed on Airbnb. . We are exactly 6.5 miles from downtpwn Memphis with no traffic lights in the way. I’ve timed it at 7 minutes.

Walking in Memphis (Entire upstairs apartment)

Located in the heart of midtown. Walking distance to many bars, restaurants, and parks. $7 Uber ride to Beale St. There could not be a more ideal location for a visit to Memphis. A private bedroom, living area, kitchen, and bathroom in the upstairs of our home built in 1912. Coffee and tea is available in the kitchenette. We have two small children and a dog, but the space is private with a private entrance.
