The environment has an artistic atmosphere: the Graphic Centre with its nice coffee shop, and Švicarija with studios of a number of Slovenian artist and a bistro, are in close vicinity In summer time, there are artistic events, concerts and performans. It is a 15-minute walk to the old part of the city, mostly through the park.

Our wooden cottage is located in the village Mahićno near the town of Karlovac. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is by the woods where you can take a walk and see a lot of harmless animals. In just a few minutes’ walk through the woods and the meadow you can reach the river Kupa. You can also reach the river Dobra in ca. 20 min by foot and see where Dobra joins the Kupa. Both rivers are very clean and are great refreshment in hot summer days.

The apartment is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood in the central Zagreb district of Donji grad (Lower Town), just a 15 minute walk from the main tourist hub, where most attractions are. The place is owned by a famous Croatian illustrator, so you can enjoy his artwork throughout the space.
