During the day, cruise the lake with our kayaks, or bring your own Standup Paddle Board or small boat--the cove has its own private boat launch. Lake James is the perfect getaway to enjoy the fall colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains!

There are two state parks and dozens of bike and hiking trails along the lake shore . Mt Mitchell, the highest mountain east of the Rockies and Linville falls and gorge are each less than an hours drive away.

The pool may close a little earlier on those evenings.
