Blue Bay, Ramsgate come hear the ocean

This open plan studio apartment in Ramsgate is a block away from the sea. Its perfect for 1, 2 or 3 people. At night I love opening the double doors or windows onto the deck and staying awake as long as possible listening to the sound of the waves. Cooking is relaxing for me so I enjoy having a barbeque (braai) either on the deck or in the covered courtyard area if it’s raining. The kitchen area is open (with no cupboards) which makes it easy to find things when you are busy cooking.

Our 1950's beach cottage is the perfect place to unwind and leave behind the stress of modern life. Although old, she is lovingly maintained showcasing the authenticity of a bygone era. Pet friendly and located 1 hour south of Durban, Banana beach is across the road and a mere 2 minute walk away. The beach is shark-net protected and a popular surf spot with lifeguards. The cottage has no direct sea view, facing inland toward our verdant garden offering protection from onshore winds.
