Hodh derives its name from the water body that used to supply the water for the “Bagh '' with its plantation of fruit trees and gardens once upon a time. Built by the Prime Minister of Jaipur, Fateh Singhji in 1876, the home was originally where the women of the house used to stay, known as the Zenana Mahal.
