有竹居 Bamboo House

Bamboo House is a traditional southern Chinese courtyard house hidden in bamboo forests. With more than half of a century long history, the building was out of shape until recent years. The owner, Winston Lin returned to his home village and renovated the house he grew up in after his retirement. With careful repairing and construction, the house presents itself with traditional bamboo columns, hinoke beams, white stucco, and red bricks as well as modern floor heating, skylights and bathrooms.
