Stay amongst the Scottish hills and lochs in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our private, no pets, one bedroom bothy is a cosy haven settled in Balquhidder Glen. Enjoy the wildlife as Deer, Red Squirrel, Pheasants and wild Rabbits will be your neighbours. Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

Delightful chalet overlooking Strathtay

We look forward to sharing our lovely chalet with you. If the weather is fine you will wake up to fabulous views across the valley. There are several good walks right from the chalet, and once down the track the possibilities for walks or spectacular places to visit are endless. The dirt track is about 2 miles (3kms) long, and all uphill. All types of family car can make the drive with care. Not suitable for motorbikes or EV's. Due to the chalet being timber construction BBQ's are not allowed.

The lodge is open plan with plenty of space and has its own private driveway, front door, living area, fully fitted kitchen and shower room. Tea and coffee is supplied for your comfort. Take advantage of the decking area, experience 360 degree peaceful views of Dun Leacainn and surrounding hills while watching the wildlife and capture great memories. On a clear evening the stars fill the sky. The walks directly around the lodge are full of history and stunning views including a waterfall.

The Wee Glasshouse

The Wee Glasshouse is a modern, studio apartment in the picturesque coastal location of Dalgety Bay. It’s designed to enjoy breathtaking views of the bridges and is situated on the Fife Coastal Path with its many beaches and woodlands. The Wee Glasshouse has features similar to our own house which was filmed for More 4’s ‘Building The Dream’. TV Presenter Charlie Luxton visited several times to record its progress and was aired in Jan 2017. In 2020 it featured in Scotland’s Home of the Year.

The contemporary retreat with its own private entrance and decked area is located overlooking Allt a’ Chaorach stream. The stylish interior includes vintage furniture, floor-to-ceiling windows and reclaimed wooden flooring. The en suite room has a king-sized bed, walk-in shower and drinks refrigerator. Fully heated for winter use and a patio door for summer comfort.

Relax & chill, with breakfast items, welcome drinks, log burner, wifi, smart tv, patio & my personal local eating/walking/cycling/driving suggestions to enjoy! We welcome single nights, however many guests regret not booking longer.

Wisteria Garden

The pet friendly (two maximum), self contained unit is a detached annexe, internal dimensions are 6m x 4m. Set amidst beautifully Japanese gardens, it has modern amenities having been completed in May 2022. The guest house is ideally located in Central Scotland with motorway access to all areas North, South, East and West, 5 minutes drive from the location. The railway station at Falkirk High with a journey time of 20 minutes to both Glasgow and Edinburgh is a 10 minute drive.

Rossmay Cabin - Lochside holiday home with beach

This cabin sits overlooking the uninterrupted views of Loch Long & its mountain backdrop with access to our private beach. Ideal for those who enjoy walks, fishing, cycling & relaxing in the country. With the abundance of wildlife (jumping fish, sunbathing seals & daily visits of a local resident goose) you won't find it dull. Great base to explore Scotland, 45 minute drive from Glasgow Airport, located within the "Loch Lomond and The Trossachs" National Park in Argyll & Bute.

Cosy countryside retreat with easy access to Edinburgh centre. Newly built. Log burning stove, super insulated, south facing with views to the fields Great local walks straight from the doorstep. We're at the foot of the Pentland Hills. 5 minutes walk to bus stop for Edinburgh (30 - 40 min ride). Or a 25 minute drive. 15 - 20 min drive to Edinburgh airport. Traffic free cycle path to Edinburgh. Shared garden and boot and utility room. Electric car charging at cost.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft has been turned into a light and airy flat above our stables. We live next to a path which takes you north to the Ochils or south to the beautiful Gartmore Water: perfect if you are a walker or a cyclist. The nearby village of Dollar has a castle, cafes, a pub and a restaurant. We are 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport, 25 minutes from Gleneagles Hotel, 20 minutes from Stirling and an hour from the centre of both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Coach House, Gourock, is located in a quiet area a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shops, pubs and the train station. The Coach House is a charming space in a converted period building. There is private parking with electric charging point and outside seating area.
