The traditional log cabin is located on 25 acres of mostly wooded terrain in the scenic rural countryside of Wolfsville, Maryland, less than an hour and a half from D.C./Baltimore. The hosts live on the property, but the cabin is situated where it feels very private and you do not see the hosts house from the cabin. The cabin faces the woods and there is a private trail down to the creek. Take a break from everyday life, and escape to this unique and quiet retreat in the Catoctin Mountains.

Escape the hustle of everyday life at our cozy cabin in the woods. Step in and experience the wonderful smell of the white pine shiplap walls. The White Pine Cabin is the perfect getaway for couples, friends, retreats, and families with older children. Just a few minutes from the beautiful Michaux State Forest, 20 minutes from Shippensburg University, and 30 minutes from Historic Gettysburg. This home is not equipped for small children due to the large open staircase.

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.

Misty Hill Lodge - 2 BR, 2 BA, 1930's Log Cabin in Frederick will be the place where all your stress disappears as soon as you arrive. 5 wooded acres, Huge 29x29 Great Room, 80" Smart TV, Central AC/Heat. Built from American Chestnut trees that lined the property, (15min to downtown Frederick, 5 min to Middletown). The property features incredible wildlife.

A restored 1700's log cabin in a convenient location to Shepherdstown and surrounding attractions. One bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed. One pull out sofa in the downstairs living area. In the summer of 2018, we have added an intimate brick patio area suitable for alfresco dining and for fireside sitting. It is peaceful. It is beautiful. You will not want to leave.
