Beautiful 17th century cottage, in the heart of the Pennines. Situated in Todmorden, West Yorkshire our beautifully restored cottage built in approximately 1665 and overlooking the vibrant market town of Todmorden and only 5km away from the artisan and beautiful town of Hebden Bridge. It provides an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire including; Howarth, the home of the Brontes, Halifax, including the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister and the Pennine Way.

Curl up in front of the fire in our self-catering hut located next to our quiet, private farm lane. Enjoy panoramic views over the valley. Our lovely little outer house forms part of a grade 2 listed house set in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire country side on the outskirts of Halifax. Newly renovated, the contemporary space is warm and welcoming with great walks, cycle routes and pubs right on the door step. Rest and relax after a day of exploring, with great routes to Hebden Bridge, Sowerby Bridge, Haworth and The Calder valley.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!

‘The Nook’ & Hot Tub - Hebden Bridge

A cute little attached cottage in the heart of hebden bridge. The space consists of the original servants entrance and kitchen, cold store and garden for the main house, Thorn bank house. The space which we’ve named ‘The Nook’ has a newly renovated living space, which is warm, contemporary and light with everything you need for a cosy stay. You have exclusive access to the garden, which means relaxing in the hot tub after a long day sight seeing, shopping or hitting the pubs.

The Little House is uniquely located on a quiet, non-through road at the heart of Hebden Bridge. Leave your car behind and walk everywhere around this picturesque town, full of independent cafes and restaurants, artisan shops, galleries, pubs, live music and even an independent cinema and local theatre. (on street parking IS available, but we say the best way to see Hebden Bridge is by foot).
