The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

Our cute Lake House is encased by the beautiful hills and forests of The Camden Snow Bowl, a small and local ski resort. It is located on the waterfront of the beautiful Hosmer Pond, just short of a mile from The Camden Snow Bowl and a 5-10 minute drive from the towns of Rockport and Camden. This spot yields something for anyone, whether that is a visit to the Rockport Harbor, our favorite coffee shop or the town of Camden, it is also a great spot to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities.

Spacious cabin and camp on a cove with spectacular views. Large deck overlooking the water. Updated indoor and outdoor shower and kitchen. Wood stove and mini-splits added in 2022 for cooling and heating. Access to the water, for swimming, and boating. Many hiking trails nearby. Ask about other check in days. One bedroom is in the main cabin. Additional sleeping cabins located nearby provide extra room for more guests. For more than 6 guests extra charge of $20 per person per night.
