The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. For summertime visits, we have bug sprays available for the no see ums (Lúsmý) as well as window nets.
