Lovely wooden holiday lodge in a beautiful scenic area on the Solway coast. This lodge has 3 bedrooms, open plan kitchen /living area, toilet and shower room, balcony, and parking for two cars. (sorry, no pets allowed) We are 10 mins walk from the tidal estuary, cockle shell beach and woodland walks , & 2min ride from Dalbeattie 7 Stanes Mountain bike trails Sadly The Anchor village pub closed in Dec25, and The Mariner won't open until summer 26. Other pubs/takeaways within 5-10min drive.

The biking and walking trails of Mabie and Dalbeattie Forest (7stanes) are close by. Colvend golf course is free to lodge guests. The area is recognised dark sky area.

Oak Tree Hut

Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Gorgeous luxury dog friendly cabin with it's own private deck, enjoy time by the sea in the stunning Kippford sailing village.
