Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

I have been receiving all the great reviews from everyone fortunately :-) I am sure you will have a tremendous trip in Atami/Izu/Hakone by staying here!

森の中にひっそりあるオーシャンビューのコテージで自然の音だけの非日常を体感してみませんか？ パワースポットのハートの洞窟竜宮窟(ジブリ「紅の豚」のモデル)、田牛ビーチを通り、田牛の国立公園内にコテージはあります。 コテージの玄関を入ると目に飛び込んでくる、木々のグリーンと海のキラキラした光。20畳程ある吹き抜けのリビングには ソファ、キッチン、ロフト 、冬は暖炉とご家族やご友人同士の寛ぎの空間が広がります。 窓からテラスへ出ると海から広がる空と海を眺めるために作られたテラス。ジャグジー、ハンモックブランコでゆっくりと流れる心地よい風と空を贅沢に感じて頂けます。 テラスからもう一つ上へ 階段をのぼるとスカイデッキ。見渡しても自然のみ。はっと息をのむ絶景が広がります。 伊豆の海と漁船のゆったりとした流れ、聞こえてくるのは小川のせせらぎに鳥の声。最高のデトックスです。 今度は1つ階を下りると、森の中で川のせせらぎを聞きながらの炭BBQ。美味しくて楽しくて最高の思い出です。 夜になれば目が眩むほどの星空が広がりお天気が良ければ流れ星も！空の美しさを満喫していただけます。

Welcome to our renovated 100years building. Enjoy our spacious home with an on-site sake bar in an old warehouse, open to both guests and locals. Use the hearth at your request; we'll light it upon arrival. Original wood, furniture, and equipment add a unique touch. A brief room tour is included during check-in. Nearby attractions: Shirayama-hime and Kinken Shrine. Kanazawa is a 20-minute drive, or take the Ishikawa Line. Personalized local recommendations available upon request.

Please experience or your friends and genuine good old Japanese life with your family. You can feel free to use, such as 12 people a large digging your stand is there an event-party sit at the same time. System kitchen, refrigerator, microwave oven,cookware, has to offer, such as tableware. Since there is a loft it is possible acceptance of the organization. Bedding will be available in the Japanese style. It is an old town house, but is already all the water around the renovation.

囲炉裏を囲んで仲間とゆっくり過ごせます。風や空模様に季節を感じながら、五右衛門風呂やかまど、昔ながらのスローライフが楽しめます(カセットコンロ、IHヒーター、シャワーあります)。薪ストーブクッキング、屋外でのBBQも出来ます。 　出雲市駅から自動車で10分。出雲大社へは２5分。近くに温泉もあります。20畳の和室がプライベートな寝室で、キッチンとトイレは共有です。蔵に設計事務所を併設していて平日は8時30から18時まで仕事をしています。眺めの良い茅葺の小間もお使い頂けます。 　エアコンもありますが夏は縁側を開け放って蚊帳を掛けると、夏の夜風が快眠を誘います。春から秋は蛙やヒグラシ、鈴虫などの懐かしい声が枕元に届きます。 　炭火や火起こしに不慣れな方はタイミングが合えばお手伝いします。薪は無料、囲炉裏を使う場合はBBQ炭を持参してください。 スーパーマーケットまで1､6キロ、出雲市駅まで5キロです。 田圃道、川土手などのを早朝にウォーキング，ジョギングすると気持ちいいです。 ペットは土間でお願いしています。7，8月は庭のブルベリーをどうぞ。

「Tabitabi Taishi」 remodeled from a traditional Japanese-style [Machiya]. It is designed with a lot of hand-dyed Japanese style Tang paper, wallpapers made of tin and gold foils, and other traditional Japanese crafts and elements. We also retain the original properties of the machiya. Here, you can experience the original and traditional Japan, and also you can feel the ingenuity of combining modern elements with traditional craftsmanship.

小豆島　海まで30秒　どの部屋からも海が見える

小豆島町の静かな海辺に建つ一軒家です。 海と夕陽を眺めて黄昏れる為だけに建てた家です。その為テラスの階段の段数が多く大変申し訳ございませんが決してバリアフリーとは呼べません。（荷物のお手伝い等出来るだけのことは対応させていただきます） ですが、高いテラスを登った先には瀬戸内のキラキラ輝く穏やかできれいな海と毎日顔を変える茜色の夕空が待っています。 是非、時間を忘れ非日常をご堪能ください。 室内にはテラスの階段を登って入ります。バリアフリーではありません。 小さなお子様か階段を登り降りする際は必ず大人の方がお付き添いください。 また、雨の日は階段が多い為ご不便をかけるかもしれません。 また、宿前の道路は舗装されていません。 ご不便をかけるかもしれませんが、ご了承下さい。 宿の周りは自然が多いため、どうしても虫がでます。窓や扉の開閉時に虫が一緒に入ることがあります。（特に夜は宿の明かりに虫が集まります）大変申し訳ございませんが、虫が苦手な方は宿泊をご遠慮ください。
