This is the Kominka style BNB in Yamanakako. “Hirano no Hama” A 8 min walk to the breathtaking view of Mt Fuji overlooking the lake. Only a 5 min walk from the Hirano highway bus terminal to connect “Busta Shinjuku” / Tokyo Sta. Tourists in the most walkable neighborhoods of Hirano ward will find a car isn't necessary to get around.

風に､音に､緑に､湖に､太陽に､雲に､星に､月に､雨に､土に､雪に､そしてこの山荘にとけるようにくつろいでいただきたいという思いで「とけとけ山荘」と命名致しました。 グラフィックテザイン、彫刻、家具づくりを学び、ジュエリーデザイナーとして活動するオーナーが、建物、外構、インテリアまでほぼ全てデザインし、一部施工も致しました。いやいや、結構施工いたしました笑。 外観は温もりのある黒。焼杉という、杉を焼いた材料を真鍮の釘で留めています。西の地域で使用される伝統技法の珍しい外観です。 家具職人だった経験を生かし、室内の欄間やドアの小窓、照明、キッチンバックカウンター 、棚、看板などなど無垢の木を使い自作致しました。また古道具をリメイク、リサイズしたものもあり、ここにしかないものがたくさんあります。床や階段は無垢の杉板、壁はドライウォール というアメリカの技法を使った塗り壁で、こちらも職人さんに手伝っていただきながらの自主施工です。温もりのある、新しいようなどこか懐かしいような落ち着く空間を目指しました。
