Just 20 mins to Victoria or Mill Bay, close to the Malahat Skywalk, island wineries, and Butchart Gardens via ferry.

Only 30 min from downtown Victoria, Oceanus offers a relaxing retreat/romantic sanctuary. Featuring a king-size bed, a queen-size pullout sofa, and a crib, this garden suite accommodates up to four adults. Oceanus has a full kitchen, equipped with all you need to prepare delicious meals, including a blender, a mixer, and a BBQ grill. Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Ocean Front Retreat with Stunning Water Views

The Boathouse is perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat or solo travelers wanting to unplug and recharge their batteries. This 1 bedroom cottage is nestled on the hillside at the water’s edge. As you walk the steps down to the private cottage take in the panoramic ocean views. It has recently been renovated from top to bottom. *Please note that a new house is being built next door, so there may be residential construction noise during the day.

Enjoy a comfortable stay in our cozy and spacious pet-friendly guest house. A private 1,100 sq. ft. retreat, perfectly nestled in a peaceful country setting. Whether you're here to relax or explore, you'll be close to Butchart Gardens, lakes, hiking and mountain biking trails, with downtown Victoria just a 25-minute drive away. We live on-site with our 7 donkeys, 2 friendly dogs, and chickens. You're welcome to meet them during your stay!
