Our cozy cottage is the perfect romantic getaway or quiet retreat in any season. Located on a private rd with scenic waterfront view. Guests can enjoy sitting on the dock (May- October) or the jetty, watch the eagles and Osprey, use our kayaks, do some fishing, walking or biking. Sit by the propane fueled fireplace on a chilly night. Brunswick, home of Bowdoin College and a # of great restaurants and unique shops is just 5 mi. Travel by bus or train to/from Boston. Portland is @ 30 min away.

We live in a 200 year-old farmhouse, and we love to host guests at our guesthouse, which is separate and private. The wide lawn, fire-pit, and BBQ are open for our guests. 3 night Min. stay 6/1 to Labor day. Cottage #2 is a classic one-bedroom with soothing beach colors and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and updated finishes. It is outfitted with vintage and modern decor mixed in. The cottage has a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans and utensils for those times when you may just want to stay in and cook. Private fenced backyard with a gas grill, table and chairs. Just a short 5-minute walk, to the beach. Yes we allow pets.

Taproot Cottage is cozy, quiet, comfortable and nestled in the beautiful White Mountain foothills of Brownfield, ME. Just one mile from the Stone Mountain Arts Center, 30 minutes to North Conway, NH, and easy access to hiking trails, mountain vistas, and the Lakes Region of western Maine. It offers a well-equipped kitchen/dining/ living room combination, full bath, a relaxing sunroom with full-sized futon for additional sleeping, and a loft bedroom with a queen bed.
