In de prive tuin vind je een eethoek, overdekte zitplaats, bbq. De bar is uitgerust met een pooltafel, darts en een houtkachel voor een sfeervolle avond. Het huisje is gunstig gelegen, op een steenworp van het natuurgebied De Broekbeemt, Borgloon, Hasselt en Sint-Truiden. Er is de ook mogelijkheid om elektrische mountainbike te huren

De befaamde Hnita Jazzhoeve bevindt zich op 2 km, de wei van Werchter op 15 km. La Granota is maar 20 min. stappen van het treinstation. Leuven of Antwerpen zijn dus dichtbij. Gasten zijn altijd erg welkom! Alleen in de winter verhuren we niet omdat we er dan fototentoonstellingen organiseren.
