We have ample space for parking a boat, so you can easily explore the lakes. Additionally, our home is in close proximity to the Stonewall Jackson WMA, which offers 18,000 acres of public land for hunting and fishing. The Loggers Cabin is just that, owned by a local Logger. Recently restored & Hand Crafted with timber right off this very property. This is a 150 AC farm & bird hunting preserve. Relax in the hot tub, hike, Bring your ATV’s/UTV’s - ride for miles down local backroads. Plenty of space to park your boat or trailer. Public lands nearby offer fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, etc. 20 minutes from the popular Stonewall Resort. (NO WIFI, AT&T & Some other providers do have service

Sweet Country Cabin: Sandstone!

Remote and secluded, Sandstone sits on a hill that was the property’s quarry, where the old-timers split the mountain’s sandstone rocks to make the foundation stones for their cellar and house. Their excavation holes are visible from the cabin. We thought that was so cool, so we carved out a place for Sandstone too! This cabin is on a hill: a peaceful piece of WV heaven that will comfortably accommodate up to 4 memory-making guests! Furry friends welcome with $95 pet fee.

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

Driftwood Cabin in Almost Heaven, Hacker Valley WV

This two-bedroom cabin sits on the bank of the Holly River. Enjoy the peaceful sound of the river as you relax on the covered front porch. The cabin has an outside fire ring and a beautiful fireplace inside for those chillier days and nights. Driftwood Cabin is 2.25 miles from the entrance of Holly River State Park and 1 mile from Holly River Grocery. We have an abundance of fishing, hunting, hiking, horse trails, four-wheeler trails or simply kick back and read a book.

Two-bedroom country cottage. You get the entire home, includes a full-kitchen, fire pit, and only yards away from the Elk river. Also has a front/back porch, and close to a swinging bridge that cuts over the river to walk to town! We are located 50 minutes to an hour from the Snowshoe ski resort, Summersville lake, and The Cherry Hills country club in Richwood. Pet friendly.

Historical cozy cottage built in the mid 1800s conveniently located near the Green Bank Observatory, Snowshoe Mountain Resort, the National Forest and loads of hiking and biking trails. From the back yard, you can access hiking trails which connect to the Observatory's many hiking and biking trails. Cass Scenic Railroad and the Greenbrier River are only 6 miles away.
