Quiet, private, updated home, NOT a cottage: >2200 sq ft, single level 3B/3B, + bonus lower-level walk-out/office. Master bed double shower/jacuzzi overlooking the water! Multiple oceanfront decks. 100 ft granite shoreline, short stroll to nearby sand beaches. Swim, fish, read a book, or watch the sailboats go by! (Not suitable for children/pets/events.)

We are sharing our "happy place". Cozy, family-friendly cottage has everything you need to enjoy a lovely vacation in a quintessential New England town. Ideally located between Guilford's famous green, gorgeous harbor and town beach, easily walk everywhere. High-season/weekend rate reflected in general view--check for actual. Recommended for groups of up to 4 (5 if with kids). Second bedroom (king) is open to living area-we provide a folding screen for door area and curtain for “passthrough”.

This lovely Cottage sits directly on the Patchogue River with scenic views of the river and marshlands from every room and just a 1/4 mile walk or bike to the Beach. Private, but close to so much, it’s Perfect for a Romantic Getaway, or a long Vacation. Outside, you can enjoy the breeze from the Riverfront Deck, Sun Bathe, Crab or Fish on the Lower Dock, watch the Eagles fly by, or wander about the wooded property. Bring or rent a Kayak and paddle down the river right to the Long Island Sound.

Riverfront Antique Cabin in the Heart of Madison

Antique, rustic cabin on Neck River just minutes from downtown Madison. Come kayak, birdwatch, and relax. First floor has a full, eat-in kitchen and tranquil living room with TV, pingpong, and games. Walk (1.5 miles) or kayak (during high tide) to Grass Island for a tranquil beach experience, or drive (2 miles) to downtown, with beaches, bookstores, a quaint town cinema and a wide array of restaurants. Relax (or fish) on the stone porch as egrets, osprey, and kingfishers fly above you.

Enjoy Fall Foliage, swimming, fishing, and some of the best Kayaking from this perfect setting. Minutes from the Guilford train station, restaurants, shopping, and historic town green. The property is just 15 minutes from New Haven, and the Yale campus. The Thimble Island cruise, and the Ct. river steam train/cruise are nearby as well.

Guest House at the Marina

Traveling nurses, academic rentals happily considered! A beautiful, modern one bedroom apartment on the second floor with a gorgeous view of the Indian River and tidal marsh. It is 600 sq feet, completely renovated, with a queen size bed, a well-appointed kitchen & bathroom. Walking distance to the Clinton train station. Stays in-season include use of 2 kayaks or SUPs per day (2 hours) provided by Indian River Kayak from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The Barn by the Sound

Spend a weekend in The Barn: a modern designed free-standing building with guest studio apartment above, designed to look like a barn; the studio has views at tree level of a quiet, old neighborhood; one block from Long Island Sound; on a section of the historic old Boston Post Road. There is lots of natural light coming from a large window with a lovely view of a privet hedge on our property overlooking a park like property across the street.

Would also make for a lovely place to call home while you are selling or renovating your own home. Couples, two good friends, singles, or a family with an older child will enjoy the configuration. It will also make for a lovely getaway for a couple with a newborn.

Our 1915 Arts & Crafts bungalow's spacious in-law suite offers driveway parking, private entrance, sunroom, king bedroom, en-suite bath, kitchenette w/fridge, micro, coffee maker, toaster. Relax in bed with 40" HDTV with Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Netflix, premium cable. Enjoy private gardens to sun, read a book or cup of coffee. Short drive to 4 Vineyards, Theater and the train station. "Sweet Caroline" is a charming 4 bedroom shoreline colonial that has been recently renovated to provide an up-to-date feel while maintaining it's 1920's charm. We fell in love with this home last summer while visiting friends and family and decided to make it our home away from home. We have enjoyed her so much that we decided to share her with others seeking similar cozy, New England shoreline, accommodations.
