Just constructed with 2 large bedrooms both with spacious ensuites, separated by a welcoming kitchen/dining/living area with a generous verandah across the front of the house.

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. This secluded cabin is the perfect retreat for a single, couple, or a family looking to 'switch off' from the daily grind. There is a grassed camping area right next to the cabin for the kids to sleep in tents, while mum and dad can relax comfortably in Karingal Cabin. Kids stay free when you bring your own tents. We are 5 mins drive from the tourist & fishing village of Yeppoon. We are 190 metres above sea level and boast views north towards the Byfield Ranges and East over the Keppel Isles.

Sit back on the covered outdoor area with a beverage, overlooking the property and dam, and bask in the serene sounds of the country, beautiful sunsets, farm animals and wildlife.

Beautiful spacious farm house on the Walsh river just 95km from Cairns. Perfect for a group or family getaway wanting complete privacy. Cook your pizza in an authentic pizza oven or canoe on the river. Black Swan farm is the perfect spot to unwind with a bottle of wine and a fire next to the river. The bird-life on the river is absolutely stunning and if you are a keen fisherman, make use of the handlines and catch a black bream. Pets are welcome to enjoy the property too. Great family spot.

From the modern luxurious interior, you can soak up nature at its finest. The platypus, other waterlife and birdlife are visible from the breakfast / cocktail bar as well as from the bathtub or outdoor shower. The biggest decision you will need to make is which vantage point to enjoy. Mena Creek Flower House, "The Birdsnest"

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. We do have 2 other cabins on the property to accommodate larger families or groups. 7mins from Paronella Park. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer providing breakfast.

Raglan Heritage School

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Raglan school is a cozy historic schoolhouse overlooking the school oval to the mangroves lining Raglan creek. Sit round the fire pit while saying hello to the resident animals, goats, sheep, our gelding Sav and his little brother Herbie our orphan yearling foal. You can stay inside and play a board game or sit back with a book on the screened veranda. Plenty of birds will keep you company. Take a break from tech and enjoy nature.
