The Big Room at The Red Lion Arlingham

When the pub first opened in 1782, if the tide was low, ships travelling along the Severn from Bristol to Gloucester would stop at Arlingham and the sailors would walk up to the village, have a few drinks in the Red Lion and then head upstairs, hang their hammocks in the rafters and stay in the pub for the night. These days we don’t see too many sailors, and the accommodation is much more comfortable, but we are delighted to be able to welcome overnight guests back to Arlingham at The Red Lion. Come and stay in one of our recently refurbished rooms, enjoy our warm hospitality and great food. Just maybe don’t drink as much as the Sailors used to! Check in is at 3:30pm and you can enjoy a locally sourced full cooked breakfast in the morning before heading out to explore our beautiful area.

Holly House Bed and Breakfast Notgrove Suite

Notgrove suite is on the first floor. The bedroom has beautiful venetian mirrored furniture and a superking memory foam bed. Finished in a chalky grey and yellow theme this room is a very bright and sunny room. The lounge has a sofa, hot drinks tray, a google home assistant, fridge containing a bottle of mineral water with a selection of chocolates and smart tv with complimentary Netflix. The en suite shower has a rain head and handheld shower and a complimentary set of Duck Island toiletries.

Woodland Hideawayhut, Wye valley Forest of Dean

Wyes workshops, Oak Cottage, Hideawayhut, nestled on the edge of the Hudnalls Nature Reserve, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Self contained space with everything you need, in your own little private forest nook. Lie in your King size bed gazing out, see the stars twinkle through the branches. Sip wine on your veranda. Hire hotub as an extra. Snuggled warm with the Woodburning fire. Indoor fully stocked kitchen, gas hob, fridge. Ensuite hot shower and sink. Separate private loo.

Parkside Studio

The self-contained Parkside Studio is on the ground floor with its own access to the garden. The house, on the edge of the cider village of Much Marcle in Herefordshire, is down a quiet lane, surrounded by a large garden, fields, Hereford cattle, and wild daffodils. Hellens Manor and Homme House are nearby. We are close to Ledbury, Great Malvern and Gloucester Stations. Bristol and Birmingham airports are easily accessible. The Black Mountains and the Malvern Hills are a short trip away.

Pinswell

Set in 600 acres of farmland, Pinswell is a world away from the rest of the Cotswolds. Half way down a private mile long drive, you'll feel like you're arriving in a different world. Pinswell is a traditional Cotswold stone building built in the 1700s, so it has quirky uneven walls and wonky floors. It all adds to the charm. You'll probably see our herd of fallow deer. Sometimes there can be over 100!
