Located off Route 62, midway between Barrydale and Ladismith, accessible with an average car/sedan, that has at least 17cm off ground clearance. The Cottage is well equipped, with indoor fireplace, cosy and completely private - the perfect Winter stay. Note: cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk; no wifi.

American shutters allow you to block our early morning light if you want to sleep in! The open plan lounge and kitchen allow for wonderful communal type setting which ensures the unit is perfectly set up for entertaining or family vacations. Seaside cottage is situated on Wilderness main beach. The cottage has no sea views from the bedrooms but only from the balcony upstairs. Beautiful sea views from the comman area on the grass. Walking distance to the Wilderness village. Ideal getaway for all couples and families. ( not ideal for small children, stairs in cottage and open balcony) No safety gate at stairs. The property is fully walled and has secure parking on the premises for one vehicle.

Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

Delightful loadshedding-proof little hide-away beneath the Melkhout trees, in the heart of Wilderness. Close to the Touws river and 15 minutes scenic walk along the Kingfisher hiking trial to the village. You might be lucky enough to spot a Knysna Loerie (Turaco).
