This is a first floor apartment on the right side, part of a two-bedroom apartment. The room comes with an attached bathroom featuring hot water and is equipped with air conditioning. You’ll have access to a shared kitchen and living area, complete with all kitchen essentials and a washing machine. Outside, you can enjoy a beautiful green garden with a swimming pool, where you can see birds and monkeys. It’s a quiet and relaxing place, just a 7mins walk to the famous Hikkaduwa surfing beach.

Welcome to your your home away from home, from where you can explore everything the south coast of Sri Lanka has to offer! We are situated in a friendly neighborhood 250 meters from stunning Kabalana beach, just outside of Ahangama. At Animals we offer all you need for a relaxed and energizing stay; pool, restaurant, bar, sun beds, chill-out areas and co-working space with AC. On the menu we have international food & drinks, home-made with love and local ingredients, open all day.

Amaroo Ground Floor 1

Amaroo is located right in the centre of Hikkaduwa Beach. It exudes a relaxed atmosphere and our garden rooms are the perfect space to rest and unwind after a day of exploring. The rooms are equipped with a comfortable queen bed, safe , open air shower (expect insects) and air conditioning. You can also roll out of bed and be on the beach in 30 seconds. A complimentary breakfast on the beach is included each morning. This room is on the ground floor (no sea view from the room).

Renowned artist Dileepa Jeewantha from Colombo, Sri Lanka designed the designer hotel SAFFRON ROBES LIVING in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka, his birthplace. Not far from the ART GALLERY SAFFRON ROBES, surrounded by tropical plants, a cubic non-conformist design gem was created with currently 4 extraordinary rooms, koi pond-lounge, atrium and small restaurant. Please note that the property is located on the main road, so some background noise is part of the setting. We also share the property with two friendly in house rescue dogs, Arana and Nova. Your stay includes à la carte breakfast at our rooftop restaurant.
