2 tours in one! Downtown Bolinas history walking tour plus a visit to our private bee garden and honey tasting overlooking the ocean! We will meet in downtown Bolinas at 'My Surf Shack' on Wharf road. No, we aren't going surfing, but if you need a beginner board later we can totally hook you up. We own the shack. We will walk towards, and maybe a little on to, the beach. If it's high tide in Bolinas that means there is no beach. We will do a walking tour of downtown Bolinas. You'll get past and some present history and local color. We will enjoy a nice, easy walk through the town, get highlights and have any questions answered about this quirky little village by the sea. Next we leave downtown, head up hill a little bit, and the tour switches from Bolinas history to a discussion about honey and bees. This isn't very strenuous, and we can go at any pace, but definitely qualifies as 5 minutes uphill. When we get to the top, we will stop to visit some of our bees - and sit. I'm a beekeeper, and my bees enjoy ocean front views. You will too - and enjoy some incredible local honey and gain some deep knowledge about these wonderful creatures
