It's a 20-minute drive to Saranac Lake and 35 minutes to Lake Placid. It's recommended to have your own vehicle or rental to best enjoy the Adirondacks. Because of its size taxis are expensive and an Uber may take some time to reach you. If you're flying in, the nearest airport, SLK, is 15 minutes away.

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Our cabin is a studio with a hot tub & all the amenities. A queen bed, linens, towels, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, single burner cook plate, dishes, utensils, glassware, pots/pans, toaster & coffee maker. Roku Tv & dvd player w/movies. The cabin has both an inside & outside (summer)shower. There is a firepit w/attached grill. We have a garden area & privacy fence between our home & the cabin. Bring foot wear to get you from hot tub to cabin while walk is covered it requires sandals.

The Icehouse is a historic house situated in the High Peaks. The building is surrounded by a stunning private wilderness, with trails, brooks, and fields that no one but guests have access to. The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 7x7 with one single twin sized bed, dresser with three drawers, a dorm sized fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch. We have a screened hammock next to the cabin. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book sitting in the Amish rocker by the outdoor fireplace.

It is also located right off the snowmobile trails/cross country ski trails in Gabriels, NY. It is fully equipped with everything you may need. Perfect place for a home base while you go on your very own Adirondack adventure. The VIC center is close by, fishing, lots of hiking and paddling… 10 minutes from Saranac Lake 30 minutes from Lake Placid

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.
