Canopy on summerhouse with a patio heater, should the weather be a little chilly ! Picnic bench on patio, guests are able to enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. The cottage has recently been renovated with a new kitchen and various decorative updates. Montacute is a small village and civil parish in Somerset, England, 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Yeovil. The village is built almost entirely of the local hamstone. At the centre of the village is a large square known as the 'Borough' around which are grouped picturesque cottages

The Shepherds Hut, Tritchmarsh Farm

Tritchmarsh Farm is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, only a few miles inland from the Jurassic Coast. Our Shepherd style hut is located in its own field under some oak trees. it has a small fence around it so that the horses in the field don't disturb you. if it is peace and quite you require then this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE. MARCH 2023 we have had quite a lot of rain. within the fence it is fine, but you will need boots to get across the field to the hut.

Great local walks and fabulous local pubs within walking distance. A fabulous place to break a journey if you're travelling from London to Cornwall as we are pretty much half way. However, be warned, those that have done this so far, always wish they were staying for longer, and sometimes they do!
