Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

This newly refurbished, well equipped cottage provides the perfect accommodation for six people- 2 double and 2 single beds including all of your home comforts. This spacious 3 bedroom house is in a fantastic location. It is situated between Dundrum and Newcastle, within walking distance of Murlough Beach and Murlough Nature Reserve. The Mourne Mountains, Dundrum Castle and the Royal County Down Golf Club are nearby. The house is in a rural location but there is easy access to public transport. Pets are welcome but we would ask that they are kept downstairs in the property. There is also a secure enclosure for dogs in the garden.
