Unique. private & very ancient dovecote near Salisbury & Stonehenge with a fabulous swimming pool in gorgeous peaceful countryside with wonderful walks straight from the door. Beautifully furnished, very well equipped, romantic & spacious. Thick stone walls make it warm & cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as very quiet. It has an exceptionally comfortable super kingsize bed, rolltop bath, huge velvet sofa, sound system, 50" TV, fully equipped kitchen, dining area & shower room.

Attached to a beautiful farm house, and set within the New Forest National Park, the Bolt Hole offers a wonderful place to relax. Enjoy the hot tub and take in the garden and paddock views. When it is chilly, draw the curtains and light the wood burner. Quiet and peaceful yet 2 minutes' drive from a great village which has two super pubs. 5 miles from beaches and 3 minutes' drive to the wonderful New Forest. Bring your dog too, there are fields for them to run around in.

We are located approx. 25 minutes from Salisbury, 30 minutes to Bournemouth/Poole and 10 minutes to the New Forest. The Lodge is newly refurbished with all the facilities you should require during your stay with us. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, Butler's Rest is a stylishly renovated, quirky 19th Century cottage. Perfect for a romantic escape. In an unspoiled part of the New Forest, deer roam through the gardens, a short walk from three wonderful pubs and the open forest itself. It's a great setting from which to explore, although with a well equipped kitchen and cosy woodburner, you may not venture anywhere!

Set in a stunning rural location, surrounded by woodland and fields located near to Cranborne & Alderholt with easy access to New Forest National Park, Cranborne Chase and of course the fabulous Dorset coastline.
