Fabulous Barn in Great Wolford, Moreton in Marsh

Our Barn is for your use only and is laid out over two floors. You are welcome to walk around our large garden, which includes a view over a small lake with rowing boat and pontoon, a vegetable garden and hidden seating areas dotted throughout. A generous welcome hamper is our gift to you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are no extra charges to the nightly rate. The Barn is a unique, romantic and private Cotswolds hideaway set in the grounds of an 1840's home on the edge of the village in a peaceful setting making it the perfect base to explore this outstanding area. You have private use of the upstairs suite and downstairs luxury bathroom and kitchenette. Underfloor heating throughout and reversible air-conditioning upstairs are there to make your stay as cosy or cool and comfortable as possible. Enjoy the luxury of a multi-purpose open plan space filled with light and framing spectacular triple aspect views across the grounds and countryside.  The main feature of the modern oak barn is its large 'A' frame floor to ceiling windows at either end of the upper level. These give outstanding views to the surrounding countryside and garden - including a small lake with bountiful wildlife; ducks, moorhens, herons, fish, buzzards, finches, woodpeckers to name but a few! The Barn also benefits from a private outside dining space to complete the immersion in nature.  Upon entering the front door there is a good size stone floored entrance hall with small "L" shaped kitchenette. From there you enter in to the fully fitted bathroom. There is underfloor heating throughout and a brand new air-conditioning unit for when our summers are warm. There is also an ethanol fire for a living flame experience. The Kitchenette is fully equipped for your stay with a Nespresso coffee machine, 2 ring electric hob, fridge with small freezer box, kettle and slimline dishwasher. *AIR FRYER* new 2025! There are kitchen essentials provided (oils, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee pods and tea bags) And the hamper includes more items to prepare breakfast and light meals if desired (milk, bread, butter, cheese, yogurt, crisps, biscuits and sometimes chocolate and sweets!).  The large Bathroom includes a walk in rain shower with hand held shower attachment, low-level WC and a large roll top freestanding bath. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel as well as body and hand towels are all provided. There is always plenty of toilet rolls, tissues and cotton wool. A carpeted flight of stairs leads you up to the light and airy open plan oak floored double aspect living area. There is a modern room divider providing a private and comfortable sleeping area with short hanging space within. The bedroom is fitted with plantation shutters that gives fabulous views to the fields and beyond from your bed! There is free unlimited fast Wi-Fi throughout the property and a large curved TV upstairs. There is also a Bose docking station for iPhones. Chargers and UK/US plug adaptors are also available. The property is entered off the lane through oak gates onto a large driveway for easy parking in front of The Barn. The nearest town, Moreton-in-Marsh (3 miles) is a wonderful Cotswolds town full of caf s, pubs and shops. There is also a famous weekly Tuesday market. Astley is a traditionally styled Cotswold cottage providing you with a home from home experience in Stow on the Wold, one of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds We are perfectly located at the end of the town with an array of shops, bars and restaurants to suit every need. Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

Tastefully furnished and full of original art with a choice of two lovely double bedrooms and a kids bunk room bed as well as a newly refurbished bathroom and a homely kitchen Dining room. This is the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds.

Fourshires Lodge | Wonderful panoramic views

Fourshires Lodge is a Cotswold stone lodge house built in 1802 and recently renovated to an exceptional standard, retaining many original features. The lodge benefits from exposed beams and stone work, mullion windows, large patio area, huge outdoor space and wraparound views over open countryside. There are 3 large bedrooms, one ensuite, with additional sofa bed available on request. The lodge has super fast fibre broadband and log burner. Quiet and private location but only 2 miles from town.

The Shearing Shed - cosy barn on family farm

The Shearing Shed was an old cowshed/pig sty/shearing shed now converted into a holiday let. Open plan with log burner, fully equipped kitchen, king size bed and single bed (travel cot available), shower room and outside space with table and chairs. You are at the heart of the farm yard (please note we are a working farm and there will be animals close by!) The local taxi service is not great so please book ahead if you need a taxi transfer from the station (see pictures for list of numbers).

Elegant & stylish home in Moreton town centre

The property is a spacious one-bedroom home on the first floor with elevated aspects over the centre of the town. It is built of local honey-coloured stone with deep sash windows and dates from the late Georgian era. The property can sleep three, with one king sized bed, and a quality sofa bed in the living room. PLEASE note the sofabed is available on request and there is a a small charge for the extra bedding.
