We are in easy walking distance (about 10 minutes) from the centre of Dorchester. here you will find Cafes, restaurants and shops Dorchester is an historic town, with many place of interest. No Visitors. No smoking or vaping, on the premises. No pets.

A bespoke shepherd's hut, made by a local craftsman residing on rolling pasture of a forgotten turf maze and meeting place lost in time. Welcome to the first Troytown shepherd's hut, completed in June 2023. Located on Dorset's famous Jurassic Coastline it is the perfect base for exploring sandy beaches, historic monuments and plentiful walks in nearby Puddletown Forest. Enjoy an off grid experience with views of ancient woodland and sheep grazed pasture.

Pixon Barn is situated on a working farm on the Jurassic Coastline within an easy driving distance to Weymouth, Lulworth Cove, and Abbotsbury. It is located next to numerous bridlepaths, perfect for avid walkers, cyclists and lovers of the countryside. We welcome any and all well behaved dogs. There are several pubs all within a 5 minutes distance by car, as well as our own farm cafe and shop located on the main road into Weymouth. Best ice-cream around.!
