This home includes 4 bedrooms: a first floor master with a shared bathroom, a second floor master with a shared bathroom, and 2 other bedrooms upstairs (1 queen with private bath, and one "kids room" with 2 full size beds). The home comes w/ access to 6 single kayaks and 1 tandem kayak, along with a pedal boat (with a signed liability waiver). We are located 35 minutes from Jay Peak and Burke Mountain and there is access to the VAST snowmobile trails from the lake. Relax w/ the entire family.

Pristine Lake Location in Vermont

Our cottage is located on Lake Memphremagog, an international lake shared with Canada. Visit our nearby hobby farm/children’s museum. Kayak, bike or hike to stunning natural settings or take day trips to a variety of interesting destinations, including maple sugar shops, alpaca or dairy farms, golf courses, a ski resort with indoor waterpark; or cross the Canadian border a few miles away and explore Quebec. A boat dock is available for use at our cottage with an access ramp a 1/4 mile away.

Secluded Cabin on Large Private Pond and 200 Acres

Authentic VT cabin on a large, private pond you have all to yourself. No electricity, but all the comforts you need in a stunning, secluded setting that will let you connect with nature and relax. Surrounded by over 200 acres for privacy and walks through the forest. There is a limited amount of solar power that can be used for lights, charging electronics and running the Starlink WiFi. This cabin is the real deal - left mostly as it was built over 100 years ago, so expect quirks and charm.

The House of the Setting Sun, Private Apartment

The House of the Setting Sun is a great place to rest, relax & re-energize. Located in a family friendly neighborhood, while still within walking distance to restaurants & close to downtown Newport. The apt has its own dedicated WiFi, easy for working remotely. Downstairs is a room with a ping pong/pool table. You will have your own deck, where you can sit & enjoy a cup of coffee to begin your day or unwind with a glass of wine as the sun sets. Hosts on site and ready to assist if needed.

This cozy little house is a step out of town and offers all the conveniences you will need! While still close enough to Jay Peak, Lake Memphremagog is right out your window! The Newport Country Club, Gardner Park (playground, basketball court, ball fields, fishing and ice skating), grocery store, movie theater, restaurants, shops, a lovely boardwalk and bike path are all within less than a mile. TV downstairs with streaming services and a projector upstairs in loft. Super cool! Welcome!

Features two kayaks, access to public boat ramp, hammock, outdoor grill, and stone fire pit. Only a walk away from the local dog park and central to many wonderful hiking trails like Mount Pisgah, mountain biking and cycling trails, Newport Country Club, Lake Memphremagog, Jay Peak Mountain, and perfect for a day trip to Montreal or Quebec City!

Come and embrace the majestic beauty of Vermont from Sugar Hill, a quaint log cabin nestled on 24 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy the views of the Canadian mountains from the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; or wander around the pasture or woods behind the cabin. Close to both Jay Peak and downtown Newport, you can enjoy all those locations have to offer, or simply relax. Please note that the stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than usual.
