Cozy Cabin, Great for Solo Travelers & Couples

This private peninsula has been a Northwoods getaway for the past 75 years, formerly as a resort and now as a unique collection of just three cabins. This listing is for Cabin #1, a lofted cabin that sits right along the waterfront. Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests. We're just 15 mins. from Downtown, Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and the Chippewa Nat'l Forest.

The whole family will enjoy this relaxing place to stay! 3 bedroom cabin on Hale Lake. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming! (2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks included). Bring your boat to put on 6700 acre Lake Pokegama just down the street! Roast marshmallows on the back yard fire pit overlooking the lake while playing various supplied yard games. One bedroom cabin sit 50 feet from the shores of Caribou lake, clarity of up to 40 ft. and 160 feet de. One of the few lakes that still offer habitat for Lake trout. The cabin has a deck overlooking the lake, a fireplace, full kitchen and sleeps up to 5 or 6. A great place for a romantic retreat, and perfect for a small family or a few friends. Fantastic swimming, fishing and hiking trails right out your door. Well equipped kitchen, but no oil. Only one dog allowed in the summer.

Lake Cabin

My lake cabin is on a private lake with no public access (Please note, I do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to the steep hill). It is near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. There is 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. The cabin is on over 4 acres; plenty of room to relax. There is a boathouse, dock, two kayaks, a small boat & motor, a fire pit and gas grill.

Two kayaks and a few tubes are available for guests to use, or sit in a chair in the river and cool off. Enjoy the views and sounds of the river and wildlife while sitting by the fire pit, on the cozy deck or in one of the 2 screened in porches. If you feel like being more social, Crosslake is only about a 5 mile drive.

This has been our family home since the 1960's. It is nothing fancy but if you are looking for clean and comfortable, we try our best!! It is 1 mile from Longville, 40 miles to Pine River, 30 miles to Walker, and only minutes away from many lakes and trails. *we are currently in the process of working on some much needed repairs to the deck, siding, and such so please keep in mind it may be in some degree of repair if you book through the summer of 2025*
