Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Met het openbaar vervoer voor de deur bent u rechtstreeks in 20 min. bij de Arena / Ziggodome en in 40 min. naar Amsterdam of Utrecht centrum. Boek nu een bijzonder huisje midden in het pittoreske dorp Amsterdam-Abcoude. Geheel nieuw ingericht, sfeervol huisje met een oppervlakte van ca. 55 m2 verdeeld over twee verdiepingen met parkeerplaats op eigen terrein. “De Automaat” is van alle gemakken voorzien. Ruime woonkamer op de begane grond met openslaande deuren en een kitchenette met magnetron, vaatwasser en koelkast. Badkamer met regendouche. Riante slaapkamer met airco op de eerste verdieping.

Bohemian Farmhouse is not a standard holiday home. It feels like staying in a private museum, filled with art, objects and atmosphere. A place for people who value quiet, character and space (but still close to Amsterdam). The backhouse is what we offer for rent: this used to be the stables in the old days and is now a big, open space with an upstairs. The house is surrounded by a 800m2 garden, included the space under the haystack.
