The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes drive from historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Nestled at the end of a quiet street in town, Little Stanley is your own private and tranquil hideaway. Surrounded by a large garden and backing on to bushland, yet right in town, it’s the perfect spot to settle in and recharge. Relax with your morning coffee in the courtyard which is bathed in morning sunlight. The outdoor deck has dining and lounge furniture offering the perfect opportunity to enjoy sunrise and sunset, clear night skies and the brightest of stars. You also get to overlook the disc golf course that makes its way around the lake. You are most welcome to play disc golf, we supply the discs free of charge.
