Comfortable for up to 4 people with a queen bed, a pull-out couch & futon. The living room has a smart-tv & large assortment of movies, games and books. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials including cookware, coffee & teas. The area is home to hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, skiing, and so much more. Welcome to Cuchara!

The Mil

Come relax at a home away from home in our quaint mother-in-law suite. (The Mil) The space accommodates 2 comfortably. There is a kitchen space equipped with hot plate, microwave and toaster oven where you can air fry, grill, bake, etc. There is a mini fridge available for use and all the basics to cook a meal. A bedroom area with queen bed and full bathroom. Living room can second as additional sleeping area. Sitting outside on the patio you have a great view of the Spanish peak mountains.

It's the quiet region of Colorado away from the bustle and noise. The house and deck gives you space to spread out and enjoy. The deck has views of the valley below. Several lakes are within 30 minutes including North and Monument lake. Take fantastic hikes to the Spanish Peaks or ride your ATV up Trinchera Mountain.

Perhaps your group is staying in our 3/2 on the same property, & you prefer a private getaway that’s not too far away. Check out our cozy little guest apartment with basic amenities such as a hot shower, filtered drinking water, a small kitchenette, dishes, TV, computer monitor, & wifi. Nothing too fancy, but in a safe, beautiful location just off Hwy 12 in Cuchara. A step up from “glamping.”

Update: Lift 4 is back—after 25 years, Cuchara Mountain Park has officially reopened this iconic chairlift (weekends only), bringing skiing and riding back to the mountain just minutes from the cabin. Enjoy a cozy, rustic winter escape in Cuchara, Colorado. Our cabin sits among snowy pines with peaceful mountain views and warm wood interiors. It’s the perfect place to unwind by the fire after a day of winter exploring—quiet and full of mountain charm.

River's Bend

Located on the bank of the Cucharas River, the River's Bend ideal mountain retreat is geared for a family vacation, or personal restorative get away. This two beadroom, 3 bath cabin can accomadate up to six guests in the main cabin with use of the luxury cots in the spacious sunroom. With special arrangements, the detatched Sleeping Hut outfitted with queen bed and sleeping loft offers additional beds and the best sleep you will ever experience!
