The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Highland River Cottage with Hot Tub

A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

Relax at this unique getaway in the small seaside town of Fortrose. The accommodation has its own private balcony and boasts stunning views of Fortrose harbour and across the Moray Firth. Chanonry Point, the best place for dolphin watching in Britain, is only a 20 min walk. Close to the popular NC500 route, it is ideal for a romantic break for two. The wood burning stove will keep you cosy on colder nights. There is so much to explore in the area, two nights may not be enough!

Hillhaven Lodge is an addition to the already well established Hillhaven B&B. Located 20 minutes from Inverness and the NC500, just outside the village of Fortrose. Local attractions include dolphin watching at Chanonry point, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club, Eathie fossils, several world famous distilleries and breweries and only 30mins from Loch Ness!

Clematis Cottage is ideal for visits to Fortrose, the Black Isle and a good base for Inverness which is just 15mins drive away. It offers comfort, peace and quiet in a newly renovated character cottage with log burner and private garden less than 200m from the beach and harbour, centrally located with restaurants, bars, shops and cafes just a short walk away. Close to the golf course, Chanonry Point, beach, harbour and other tourist attractions.

Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop (Mon-Sat 9-5pm), which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth.. You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is great for couples or families.
