“Serenity on Sibley” Guesthouse~Close to Downtown

Perfect for secluded get-away or family vacation & near the beautiful Historic Natchitoches for Downtown shopping. Natchitoches is known for festivals throughout the year including their Christmas Festival.

Keep an eye out for Bald Eagles. Explore nearby coves from our kayaks, jump in the lake from our swimming platform, fish from our piers, or lounge by the campfire. Toledo Bend Lake, one of the premier bass fishing lakes in the country, and we have the best crappie fishing right below our marina just steps away.

Cozy cabins on 30 acres...perfect for families.

Our newly renovated cabins are located 10 minutes from downtown Natchitoches, LA on 30 acres of gated property on Bayou Pierre. It is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. Upstairs the cabin has a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft area with two twin bed, and also a living area, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs. Come relax on the back porch on the swing. It is equipped with Satellite, WIFI, basic kitchen supplies, bedding, a grill, and more. We have trails to explore and a floating dock in the bayou!

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Much more than an overnight stay, this is an experience. Come to the country to get away from it all. Enjoy the great outdoors in this quaint little cabin that allows outdoor relaxing under a fully covered porch. Catch a fish, roast a s'more or pet a goat. Golf cart available for touring around. Glamping at its best. Finally had to give in to technology and add WIFI for guests (free) and added a cell phone booster as well for better outside communication when needed. Pool is now available.

Pleasant Hill is a small town located in Sabine Parish. It’s home to Pleasant Hill High School and the Battle of Pleasant Hill held the 2nd weekend in April. The town has Dairy Delight, H&L, Golden's, Ole Skool Flavor and Battlefield Nutrition as places to eat, car wash, washateria, and Saye’s Boutique. All located in gudiebook.

Caddo Lake Caboose - - waterfront w pier

The Caddo Caboose was used at the Longhorn Ammunition Plant in Karnack, Texas. When the Army shut the plant down thirty or so years ago, the Caddo Caboose was created with the car being made it into a unique weekend getaway. The Caboose is fully furnished 1 bedroom lodge with living, dining & bathroom areas as well as WiFi, Cable & DVD amenities. All you have to bring is the food you want to cook & your toiletries. A charcoal grill is provided on a private deck overlooking the water.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. Cozy fireplace with electric recliners. Nice open floor plan with two bedrooms and two baths. A full kitchen and washer/dryer. Automatic discounts for longer stays! The wooded back yard with fire pit is the perfect place to relax. Watch for the foxes, squirrels and red headed wood peckers! There is also a covered back porch with seating! The patio has table with chairs and bar-b-que grill. So close to Mansfield but still feels very private.

We're 25 minutes from Natchitoches on Black Lake. We are in a secluded area of a dead end road. Enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by Spanish moss covered trees. Under the covered front porch, you'll find comfortable seating with great views of the lake. The large windows provide lake views and let in plenty of natural light. Spend the day in town shopping or enjoying a festival. Return home to relax with a meal on the grill or a glass of wine with friends around the firepit.
