The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. There is also a full air mattress for extra guests. The bathroom is off of the bedroom. We are about 6 minutes from Liberty University, 8 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Lynchburg College and 20 minutes from the hospitals. Discounts are given for stays seven or more days. The television is a Roku.

Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, huge deck, and pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top of the line kitchen, cozy living room, and extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock.
