Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Our Tiny Aframe with bathhouse has everything you need to comfortably spend that amazing night with your significant other. The 12’ x 16’ Aframe has a very cozy, floating style queen bed. Also has a small kitchen area with microwave, stove top, mini fridge and freezer as well as a full set of kitchen supplies. All this is only a short walk (100 yds) from our private lake were you can enjoy kayaking, fishing and/or watching the sunsets.

Welcome to my fabulous brand new Amish made cabin in the woods of the Allegheny Mts. alongside the river. Rest and hide from life's problems in fresh air and sunshine. Canoe and kayak rentals available nearby or bring your own and take them out on my riverfront property. Walk or ride your bike on the rails to trails 3 mile walkway to Foxburg or go much further on other trails in Emlenton. Explore my 39 acres of woods with deer, fox, wild turkeys, bear, etc. Explore the four old logging paths.

Cottage at Lake Tranquility

Located beside 3.5-acre lake (private) with deck overlooking a pasture and swans ... a peaceful getaway. Upstairs is a loft with twin beds and small office. Electric heating and A/C make it very cozy. A queen-sized bedroom on the first-floor, kitchen, bathroom with shower, and laundry room. The living area is directly above horse stalls in the basement. We have isolated that area from the living spaces, but if you are extremely sensitive to farm odors you might prefer to stay somewhere else.

River View Getaway

This spacious home offers a peaceful getaway on the outskirts of town with a birds eye view of the Allegheny River. You will find easy access to many water activities and just a stone throw away is a public boat launch and dock. Allowing you and other guests to take a quiet stroll to see the white swans along the river. The home is only a short drive to the heart of the city and Allegheny National Forest where you can find outdoor activities and trails as well as many delicious restaurants.

The Hickory Hut

Looking for an overnight, weekend or longer, look here. 3 bedroom 1 bath cottage in the beautiful Edinboro PA Lake community is just right for a fun family getaway. Newly furnished with a fenced in yard for pets(dogs), the cottage has room for 7 guests and off street parking for four vehicles. Only 2 blocks from Edinboro Lake in a highly walkable, bike-able setting. Take a walk or a bike ride and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the lake. Finish the evening with a cocktail at the firepit.

Clarion River Timberframe Cabin

The cabin is located on 650 acres of privately owned forest accessing the Clarion River and the North Country Hiking Trail, minutes from downtown, Clarion. Take a few steps out the door and trek the North Country Trail along gentle pathways or exert a little more energy to see the Scenic Loops. Next, cool down on your dock on the Clarion River Lake. Swim, fish ,kayak, boat or just relax in the sun. Finish the day dining on he River Overlook deck, the campfire, or a fine local restaurant.

Hideaway Haven Farm Cottage

This cottage has all you could dream about for relaxation. Meet the highland cows & other farm animals, A Hot Tub, Large Pond, feed the fish, Trails to walk, Private places to sit and enjoy. A canoe and life jackets are available. If you like to swim with the fish you are welcome. Please note that our property is an adult-only retreat designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. Guests must be 21 years or older to book and stay, and we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 21.

Country home in the town of Sandy Lake. You can expect a creek stocked with fish outside while enjoying full amenities inside. Upgraded Appliances in the kitchen, two full baths, two bedrooms and den and family room and two full-sized beds plus a futon. Washer and dryer available downstairs. High speed WiFi and 55" Smart TV as well. The creek that runs through the back of the property is a great place to relax or fish. The fire pit is waiting on your hot dogs or marshmallows!
