The bar is open from 12 noon until 9pm Monday - Thursday, 12 noon until 10pm Friday, noon until 6pm Sunday.

Austen Suite | The Dower House Hotel

The “Austen Suite” is named after the novelist Jane Austen who visited Lyme Regis on more than one occasion in the early 19th century and based her novel Persuasion there. It is a spacious first floor room with a luxurious super king size four poster bed, sofa and extensive westerly views over countryside to the sea. The Austen Suite has an en suite wet room which is also fitted with Thomas Crapper sanitary ware.

The Tulip Room has a view to the west and surrounding hills, with an en suite rainfall shower bathroom. Glebe House is a guesthouse, restaurant and farm to table restaurant in East Devon area of outstanding natural beauty. Farmhouse breakfast included.

Country King

At Hills Farm Stays, we have two Country King rooms, Hawkchurch and Seaton. Hawkchurch is located on our first floor and is accessible through external outdoor steps. Seaton is situated on the ground floor and has access to a small outdoor garden and patio area. These rooms both contain a king bed, using Egyptian cotton linen and an en-suite shower room.
