Take it easy on the porch in a Hollywood hideaway

Our guests like to call The Porch House a 'tree house'. We think it's because the 40 foot long porch walks into the canopy of a massive rubber tree that stands alongside it. Or maybe because with the french doors open in the bedroom you feel like you're sleeping in a king size nest. But our 'nest' has creature comforts as well... private bedroom, shower, full size fridge/freezer, toaster oven, hot plate, coffee maker, tea pot, wifi, and Netflix. The main room has vaulted ceilings, a skylight and 2 ceiling fans to keep you cool. Simple but cozy decor make it a great place to relax. 3 sets of french doors along the porch side open up to make the place feel twice as big... Sunset is the perfect time to open up all the the doors, listen to the birds and let the light and breeze go throughout the house. You don't feel like you are in the center of Hollywood. You get the entire back house to yourself with private entrance and private porch. We are always ready to answer any questions and help with traveling suggestions but also respect your privacy so if you don't contact us we will not be bothering you. This property is located in central Hollywood—a few minutes away from Griffith Park, the Hollywood sign, and Universal Studios but nestled in a neighborhood that's walking distance to different restaurants and markets. 10 minute walk to the metro that connects to LAX, Chinese theatre, Santa Monica beach. Many bus stops on every corner. We love our neighborhood even though we are located in a central Hollywood it doesn't feel touristic or fake. We have many different ethnicities in our neighborhood which makes it so unique with different delicious authentic cousins and cultures.

Tranquil Suite in the Heart of Los Feliz Near Griffith Park

Pour a cup of Espresso and enjoy it out on the peaceful private patio, accompanied by the gentle scent of lemons wafting from the tree. The walls of this restorative and light-filled home are adorned with pottery and pieces from local artists. The suite is situated at the end of our gated and electric driveway behind the main house. While we want you to enjoy your stay and feel completely at home, we do ask that you keep it down when walking to and from the unit and when on the private patio (as a courtesy to our neighbors). We will give you a unique code for both the driveway gate as well as the guesthouse itself. The code is reset with every guest. We are available for questions and help before and during your stay. Stroll less than a mile to come to Griffith Park, with dozens of restaurants and coffee shops, plus several movie theaters, also within walking distance in Los Feliz village. Catch big-name artists in the Greek Theatre a mile and a half away. We are walking distance to most things including the Red Line Subway Station at Vermont and Sunset. The kitchen is stocked with a Nespresso Machine (we will provide 2 pods per day for the length of your stay), tea kettle + assorted teas, olive oil, salt, pepper, dish soap, fresh kitchen sponge, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hand soaps. Light, bright, airy Spanish style 2 bedroom house in very walkable neighborhood of Atwater Village. Super kid friendly, but also great for adults. Central air conditioning and heat, ceiling fans, reverse osmosis filtered drinking water, house air/water filters. Beautiful lush backyard with redwood tree, treehouse, and running stream. Piano and guitar if you want to make music, Marshall bluetooth speaker if you just want to listen! Smart TV in bedroom, games, toys, and books on the shelves!

We swim in the pool in summer and share the yard, but we’ll give you as much privacy as you desire. There’s a mini fridge, microwave, & complimentary coffee. New mini split!

Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.

SilverLake Hillside Spacious Guest Apartment

Our spacious one bedroom guest apartment locates separately on ground floor of our home in Silver Lake. There's big bedroom with queen size bed , big bathroom with shower/bathtub, hallway with entrance door to the street, fully equipped eating area but no kitchen sink/stove. Parking is free at curb. Most suitable for guests who just need a comfy place to sleep. We currently HOST ONLY ONE GUEST. Pls kindly read through our rules before booking.
