Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Salt Spring Gite

Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

The Cedar Nook

We are located in Sooke, British Columbia. Gateway to storm watching, surfing, beach exploring, hiking, biking, camping, relaxing with the sound of waves. Our place is close to the town of Sooke yet surrounded by farms, a short drive to beaches, located on a peaceful, forested 2 acres. We will be on hand if our guests need directions to one of Sooke's brewpubs, hiking trails, how to find a secret beach or which local lake is prime for swimming. Check-in time 4-7 pm, check-out before 11 am.

A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. Take in the ocean view of the Sooke Basin and the mountains of Washington state across the strait of Juan De Fuca. Enjoy a visit from our dog, Argo, who lives on the property and loves our guests. Ten minute drive to shopping centre and downtown Duncan. Direct highway access and scenic rural routes.
