The village of Bentley is quiet, quaint and right in the heart of some of the East of England's most beautiful rambling trails. Our two bedroom bungalow offers everything you will need for your stay. Bentley is a five minute drive from the pretty village of East Bergholt, Flatford Mill and Dedham Vale, made famous by the paintings of John Constable and owned by the National Trust. Local attractions such as Jimmy's Farm (as seen on TV) and Alton Water for water sports are a 5 minute drive away.

The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

Idyllic barn set in peaceful Constable Country

Peacock Barn is nestled in the grounds of the historic Grade II listed Spider Hall in the heart of Constable Country and Brett Vale, an AONB. Located at the end of a 1/4 mile long private drive way the property is completely self-contained with large bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room with French window access on to a private lawn with access to 7 acres of grounds. The only sound is often the church bells of Shelley half a mile away. 4 footpaths in to the AONB are a step away.

The Old Stables

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

The Studio Suite

The Studio is modern self-contained bed and breakfast suite in a village location 5 minutes off the A12 road 7 miles SW of Ipswich on the Suffolk/Essex borders. Ideal for an short stay or a longer visit to explore the beautiful countryside. A spacious Bed-sitting room with double bed, well equipped shower room, kitchenette. Own front door access with parking adjacent. Food for a light self- catering breakfast. A well behaved dog is welcome, by prior arrangement.

The Garage Studio

Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this place to stay. With beach walks 20 mins away by foot and Alton Waters less than a mile away with all their water activities to Suffolk Leisure Park down the road. You will have loads to keep you busy or wind down and relax on the patio and take in the bird song. With 3 traditional country pub that serve food and the Stutton community centre that sells local produce you will be stuck for choice!

The Annexe, Centre of Dedham

In the centre of Dedham, The Annexe offers a restful retreat to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Just off the High Street, it is perfectly located to enjoy all that Dedham has to offer. Restaurants, pubs, shops, beautiful walks and the river are all moments away. The private annexe is attached to our house with its own entrance and superb views of St Mary's Church.

A fairy-tale luxurious cottage - The Tea Caddy

As if a fairy-tale cottage plucked from the pages of Hans Christian Andersen, The Tea Caddy’s unique architecture and setting is the stuff of wondrous and magical fantasy. Built around 1818 in the shape of a tea caddy by a member of the famous Wedgwood family, this historically-important building is Grade II listed as well as being protected by the National Trust.
