Nestled against a quiet hill and overlooking the Eastwood Mesa, our trio of stucco casitas offers a serene retreat 17 minutes from Big Bend National Park. Each one-room adobe casita is a blend of simplicity and comfort. Featuring minimalist interiors and distinctive arched doors amid desert scenery. **Off of Hwy 118 -3 Miles of dirt roads without street signs/lights Mesa Vista is a 1-room, "off-the-grid" cabin w/2 lofts located 24 miles north of Terlingua, Tx and Big Bend National Park. It has a queen-sized bed, 2 side tables, 1 shelf, and 1 chair. One loft has a queen-sized memory foam mattress. One loft is for storage. We're a 'Dark Sky' designated area. Sunset Ranch is an acre lot at the far southeast corner of Marathon, TX that backs up to the ranch land facing south that provides unobstructed views of sunrises and sunsets from the 700 sf covered porch. Marathon is a quaint west Texas town with a public park, gardens, restaurants and shopping. It also has a level 1 night sky rating for star gazing. Located 40 minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance, this is a launch point to explore the national park and other parks and communities.

Tranquil setting that features 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains, easy access, Dark Sky designation, a large fire pit and sweet solitude. Just far enough from Terlingua to avoid the heavy crowds, but close enough for convenience. There is a small store (Little Burro) less than a mile from the cabin that many locals use.
